Lilly Marsh Studios will be at the Adirondack Wool and Arts Festival on Saturday, September 24, 10-5, and Sunday, September 25, 10-4, with Battenkill Fiber Studio. We hope to see you there!

Lilly Marsh Studios specializes in transforming local farm fibers into home décor and personal wear fabrics. The studio produces sewing yardage, blankets, throws, wraps, scarves, table runners, and more using AVL hand and power looms in a solar powered studio.

Day 2 at the #washingtoncountyfibertour at @batten

Day 2 at the #washingtoncountyfibertour at @battenkillfibers . I'm hanging out with Carol Foster @fostersheepfarm and Mary Jeanne Packer of Battenkill. Come by, pet the fibers and say hello! We are always happy to talk wool!

Actual weaving is happening in the new studio at 1 $Actual weaving is happening in the new studio at 182 Maple St, in Glens Falls NY....weaving, and inventories of new yarns and finished work! The new yarn is going into pillow fabrics for a designer, and the finished work can be viewed, and purchased, at @battenkillfibers this weekend on the @washingtoncountyfibertour . I'll be at Battenkill Sat and Sunday all day...come talk weaving and fiber!! The sunbow image is out the new back door to the studio...ice, very high in the atmosphere, refracting the sunlight on this chilly but sunny day ☀️ ❄️☀️❄️$

Finally done with the equipment moving and getting

Finally done with the equipment moving and getting set up to begin production again! I'm getting warps onto 3 looms. My 2 power looms have test warps tied on, required to test the settings and shuttle alignments, and all the compressed air hosing, but my PDL, Stella, has a 'real' warp of @battenkillfibers lovely wool hemp blend. I call that color burnt sugar and it's just gorgeous. A pleasure to get back to working, and with Luka, the studio pup, too. He seems excited to come most mornings but he'll need a thicker bed on these concrete floors 😬.
