Weaving off, cutting and finishing, all that's left for this batch is a good pressing and final inspection. Changing seasons are always a bit of a problem in the studio, I'm either running the dehumidifier or the humidifier. Too damp and the woods of the loom swell and get sticky; too dry and a static problem develops. 55%-60% is the sweet spot 😂😂

Feels very good to be back at the looms....a set of 6 twin size blankets on IDA, the power loom, and a beam of more than a dozen wraps Stella, the fly shuttle loom. Plus my pirn tossing skills remain sharp...I could turn professional there, with a little more practice☺️🤣🤣

Studio is back open for production after New Grand

Studio is back open for production after New Grandbabies Month...lots of work ahead but we are busy inventorying new yarns, measuring out spools, beaming and moving the wound beams onto looms. We left with good notes on all projects but it always take a minute to go from zero to full production mode. So much fabulous wool is coming into the studio...can't wait to see how it all turns out🤪🥳🤪🥳
